Welcome to our project.

It's time we start to change our world,

let's start with something small.

The actions of one thousand hearts

can bring change for us all.

This time we'll need everyone,

not only hashtags, tweets and posts.

Instead of bringing others down,

it's love we need the most.

For butterflies and sunset skies

and bright stars in the night.

For morning air, a stranger's care

and grins of pure delight.

We really don't have time to wait,

futures depend on now.

I'm exhausted from this silence,

it's time we take it down.

I'm ready for real action,

it's time we use our voice.

Everyone is valued,

It's time we make our choice.

Stop the silence, raise our voice,

a new plan has unfurled.

What a feat, for us to be,

the ones To Change Our World.

I am an adolescent from Western Australia and, like all of you, trying to navigate my way through society. Our world is crazy, and we are going through a lot right now.

I realised recently that I've been hoping and waiting for someone with a position of power to do something, anything, to improve our world.

However, we don't have time to wait.

I needed to do something. We need to do something and we need to start now.

I've created this project to spark change, inspiration, empathy and hope.

I hope to show people that if we start right now, if we work together making small changes, our world can change tremendously.

I want to live in a world of acceptance and love, of equality and amazing places. I've created this project to ensure that happens, with as many people as possible.
